A few thoughts from our VISAS Nordic Instructors....

Here's what Steve likes about VISAS Nordic:

  1. The opportunity for cognitively/physically challenged individuals to have a Nordic ski experience.
  2. The fabulous support we receive from Mt. Washington to facilitate
    our VISAS organization.
  3. The ‘fun’ aspect that the program delivers to all participants,
    regardless of their needs/reservations.

And what Steve's learned along the way:

  1. Some new Nordic ski skills that are specific to a specialized group
of people, (blind, physically challenged, eg.).
  2. Some new coping skills to function with a diverse clientele.
  3. To both lead and support a group of like-minded individuals in the pursuit of a common goal.
